Lest you think that yoga is something that only people who are wacky free spirits do, you might want to first think about the benefits of yoga before coming to this conclusion.

Here are some of the benefits:

• Less stress ? Will the things surrounding your life ease down and be less stressful if you do yoga? Nope. But what will happen is that you will be more at peace with what is going on around you and be able to better handle the stressful situations that we all face from time to time.

• More energy ? The interesting thing about exercise is that even though it seems to wear you out quite a bit, that does not mean that you will have less energy. In all actuality, doing exercise such as yoga gives you more energy and allows you to have the strength you need to get through a long day in class, at work or with the kids.

• It’s fun ? Yoga is a great way to relax, but it is also a great way to have fun. While you are doing your yoga you may impress yourself with how good you are getting at it as you continue to try to do better every day.
